Simple, substantial and purpose-built, it’s an easy way to give your umbrella a more secure foundation, particularly in open or exposed locations.

Important Compatibility Note
This weight plate is only compatible with Retro Umbrella Co. umbrella bases purchased from March 2026 onwards.
If your base was purchased before March 2026, this weight plate will not fit correctly.
Important Notes:

Additional weight can improve stability but does not make an umbrella windproof.

Always close your umbrella when unattended, not in use or during windy conditions.

Umbrellas should never be left open during strong winds or adverse weather.

For particularly exposed locations, additional securing methods may still be required.
