The biggest thing in the garden should be the best-looking.

An umbrella is where the afternoon happens: the lunch that runs to four, the kids on the lawn, the chair you never move. So it should be beautiful, and it should actually work.

Kids on the lawn

Children's skin burns faster than ours, and sunburn in childhood raises the risk of skin cancer later in life. Tested shade means the afternoon on the grass isn't a guess.

The lunch that runs to four

Three hours at the table is three hours of UV, and UV can be high on cool or cloudy days too. The canopy blocks 99% of it, so the long lunch can stay long.

Every umbrella is the same 3m double-tier frame with seven scallops on every panel edge. These five sit beautifully against hedges, lawn and stone. New: Provence Blue, on pre-sale.

Sizing, bases or colour: get in touch and we'll help you choose.

Do I need a base?

Yes. Bases are sold separately, and every umbrella needs a properly weighted one. Our 24.5kg octagonal base is powder-coated steel, sized for the 48mm pole and shaped to match the 8-panel canopy. For open or exposed spots, add the extra weight plate on top.

How long does delivery take?

Orders placed before 1pm Sydney time ship the next business day. Standard delivery with Aramex is free Australia-wide and prices include tax. Need it sooner? Express with FedEx is $39 per item at checkout.

What if it isn't right?

You have 30 days to return unused items, and we send a prepaid return label.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. PayPal Pay in 4 splits orders up to $2,000 into four interest-free payments: 4 × $374.75 for an umbrella, or 4 × $449.50 with the base. Orders over $2,000 can be paid in full at checkout.

What should I check before buying any umbrella?

Six things: a tested UV rating (ours is UVE 99.0%, tested and certified by ARPANSA), solution-dyed acrylic fabric, a 3m double-tier canopy, a powder-coated aluminium 48mm pole with pulley, wind testing (ours is wind-tunnel tested to 60km/h on the 24.5kg base) and a fade warranty in writing (ours is two years).

What wind can it handle?

It is wind-tunnel tested to 60km/h on the 24.5kg base. As with any market umbrella, close it when strong wind is forecast, and use the extra weight plate in open or exposed spots.

Do you supply venues and trade?

Yes. Cafés, hotels, beach clubs and event planners order multiple umbrellas from us. Send a trade enquiry and we will come back with options.

How big is it?

The canopy is 3m in diameter, about 10ft of shade, and stands 2.7m high on a 48mm centre pole. That is enough to shade an outdoor lounge or dining setting.

Is it water-resistant?

The fabric is water-resistant. The umbrellas are designed mainly for sun, so the double-tiered top may let some water through in heavy downpours.
